Introducing Maxwell Premetz: New Intern

Hello, my name is Maxwell Premetz and I live in Brookfield, Wisconsin! I live with my fiancé and dog named Sushi! In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and spending time with my family watching sports.

I gained my bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences with a concentration in Dietetics from Oklahoma State University and the professors there really helped me develop my love for nutrition. After graduation, I came back to Wisconsin to be closer to my family and am now a dietetic intern at Viterbo University! So far during my graduate experience, I’ve gotten to experience how running a private practice works and have gained valuable insight into how working with eating disorder patients goes!

I am passionate about diabetes education and research, as I have a sister who currently lives with T1D. I am also passionate about educating others and feel this may lead me on the path to eventually becoming a professor! I look forward to working with Dr. Maria and hope to share my knowledge with you all!
