Meet Another One of Dr. Maria’s Dietetic Intern !

Hello ! My name is Antiniqua Burrows, but you can call me Niqua. I moved to the Midwest from the from Nassau Bahamas to pursue my personal and academic goals. In undergrad, I worked and gained a lot of experience in the nutrition field working  as a Nutrition Lab Teaching assistant, the Nutrition Assistant for the on-campus Dietitian.

I recently graduated with a degree in Nutrition- Dietetics from The College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University.  I am currently obtaining my master’s degree in Community Medical Dietetics as well as completing my supervised practice through Viterbo University. In the past few months, I have been shown so many wonderful opportunities and amazing people while completing my internship at WIC and Hy-Vee.

I am very grateful for the chance to be mentored by such an accomplished dietitian- Dr. Maria Morgan-Bathke. I am enthusiastic to intern with her private practice as I aspire to be a nutrition entrepreneur as well. Throughout the following few weeks, I will be writing newsletters and blog posts as well as creating self-paced online classes and grocery store tours!

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Stay tuned for more content!
