Meet another one of Dr. Maria’s Dietetic Interns

Hello! My name is Madison Kading. I have been working towards my Dietetic certification in the state of Oregon since 2019. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Oregon State University and am now reaching the end of my Dietetic Internship while working with Dr. Maria. I love the science behind food and nutrition, as well as the connection between community and food.

I have experience working with a diabetes/weight management dietitian,  foodservice in the restaurant industry as well as in school nutrition, and lastly community nutrition through a local county department. I have had wonderful experiences meal planning for patients, being a part of a high school focus group to increase the number of kids eating the school menu items, and even teaching a virtual class to community members about healthy eating.

I am looking forward to sharing more nutrition information through this platform with Dr. Maria, as we aim to support and share our knowledge with you!
